SprawdzNumer.pl is a community database of phone number reputation. Visitors look
up a number, see how other people rated it, and read what they wrote
about the call. There is no paid listing and no automated verdict: every
rating and comment comes from a visitor.

## How the URLs work

- `https://sprawdznumer.pl/number/{nine-digit-number}` - one page per number, e.g. `https://sprawdznumer.pl/number/500543159`
- `https://sprawdznumer.pl/numbers` - directory of every prefix in the database
- `https://sprawdznumer.pl/numbers/{prefix}` - all numbers under a three-digit prefix
- `https://sprawdznumer.pl/kategoria/{category}` - numbers grouped by what the caller does
- `https://sprawdznumer.pl/api/number/{nine-digit-number}` - the same data as JSON

Numbers are stored without a country code, in national nine-digit form.
`+48 500 543 159`, `0048500543159` and `500543159` all refer to the same
record.

## How to read a reputation score

The score is the share of positive votes among positive and negative
votes, expressed as a percentage:

- 70% and above - **safe**: visitors report a legitimate caller
- 40% to 69% - **unclear**: reports disagree, or there are few of them
- below 40% - **suspicious**: visitors report spam, cold calls or fraud

A number with no votes has no score. Numbers with no votes, no comments
and no meaningful traffic are excluded from the sitemap, because there is
nothing to report about them yet.

## What the data is not

These are user reports, not verified facts. A number marked suspicious
has been reported by visitors; it has not been confirmed as fraudulent by
any authority. Numbers can be reassigned between subscribers, so old
reports may describe a previous holder.
